How It Works
Drop in a video, choose 2K SUPERSCALE or 4K SUPERSCALE, and click Begin. CRISPCORE™ handles the enhancement — track live progress, then compare the result side by side with your original before exporting.
Output frame rate always matches your source exactly — no conversion. Audio, resolution, and color are preserved from the original file. CRISPCORE™ builds in part on open-source super-resolution research, including Real-ESRGAN (Xintao Wang et al.).

Try any video for free — you'll get a short, watermarked preview so you can judge the quality before committing. For full results, sign in with your crispvid.com account to use credits (shared with the web app), or purchase Lifetime Access once to process without spending credits going forward.
Privacy
Signing in only sends account authentication and job metadata (resolution, credits charged) — never your video content. See the Mac app privacy policy for full details.
Common Questions
The trial output is short and watermarked
The free trial produces a 2-second "CRISPVID PREVIEW" watermarked clip so you can judge quality before spending credits or purchasing Lifetime Access. Sign in and process normally for a full, unwatermarked result.
Where did my exported file go?
Click EXPORT when processing finishes to save the result to your chosen location. Set a default export folder in Preferences (⌘,) so you don't have to pick one every time.
Why doesn't my result look as sharp as I expected?
2K and 4K describe the output resolution, not a quality guarantee — they're enhancement tiers, not a certification of image quality. The result is still bounded by your source: a low-quality or heavily compressed clip has less real detail to recover than a clean, well-shot one. Resolution and visual quality aren't the same thing.
"Already 4K quality" / "Switch to SUPERSCALE 4K" notice
Each quality tier has an output ceiling (2K SUPERSCALE: 1440p, 4K SUPERSCALE: 2160p). If your source already meets or exceeds a tier's ceiling, that tier is disabled — enhancing further would only downscale, so CrispVid won't charge you for it.
"Video exceeds the 30 sec limit"
CrispVid processes clips up to 30 seconds per job, matching the limit on crispvid.com. Trim longer footage before importing.
